The P34479-01-B LSI Logic 1GB Controller Module with FC Card is a storage controller designed for use in certain models of HP StorageWorks Modular Smart Array (MSA) storage systems.
Configuration and management of the controller can be done through the HP Smart Storage Administrator (SSA) software or through the MSA web-based management interface. Using SSA, you can configure and manage the controller and attached storage devices, create and manage RAID arrays, and perform other management tasks.
The controller supports various RAID levels, including RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 6. It also supports hot-swappable drives and hot spare configurations, as well as online capacity expansion and RAID level migration.
